Temper Trap was a killer show as well. Got a setlist and a drumstick. Getting tickets tomorrow to see them again June 5th.

Does anybody know Base Ball Bear? I saw them live recently, and they were amazing. I love them!

Their lead guitarist held nothing back in their live show. Project Blue live gave me chills.

Oh and their drummer is hilarious!

I had like 2 of their CDs in the past that I have since lost while changing computers...I liked them a lot.

Thats awesome that you got to catch them live. There are quite a few underated Japanese bands I'd love to see live, and of course some famous ones.

I really want to see Anatakikou and Snowkel live, BBB would be awesome, as confirmed by you .
I also would kill to see Asian Kung-Fu Generation. And the pillows in Japan.

Yeah, Snowkel bit the dust a couple years ago. I liked them too.
One of the next on my list to catch a live of is サカナクション (Sakanaction). I love these guys. That would be somethin' special to see.

Oh that's a bummer. Not that surprised, but still sad nonetheless. Their first album was really solid, I loved it.

I've never heard of them. I'll have to check them out.

Do you guys know One OK Rock? I saw them too. It was probably the craziest show I went to in Japan. Me and my friend fought all the way up to the front and in the center.

I know MyFoot likes One OK Rock. They totally aren't my style though.

Yeah I liked One OK Rock. Don't know if I could call myself a fan, I had their first album and I think they're second but I'm not sure if I liked it. What was that song I really liked...Keep It Real! That was a solid track, I liked that a lot. There were a few other good ones too.

Yeah I'm totally jealous of all the concerts you've attended! I take pride in all the concerts I get to and how I've gotten to see almost everyone I really like, but you get to go to all these Japanese ones that I'd kill for!
It seems we have really similar tastes too.

I'm into Base Ball Bear. I really love their more funk-driven songs (i.e. Juujika You and I, Matsuri no Ato) and Juunanasai probably has a fairly respectable showing amongst my favorite albums. (And as much as some pillows stuff relates, I'd say Seventeen Romance trumps anything else as my ultimate summer-y song)

I do have a ONE OK ROCK album, haven't really listened to it too much though, maybe I should give it another play.

And a bit late with a reply to this, but yeah, a World Tour segment to their 20th Anniversary. NYC's the only North America show they've played, though they're also gonna be playing in Hawaii ( >>; Of course pretty much [i]nobody[/i] played in Hawaii during the years I was at school there). But regardless, the mainstream-y attention they got (New York Times articles, something on Fuse, etc) for headlining a show at MSG was cool.
