Sentimental Girl's Violent Joke
Best NG song. The final uber-epic chorus at "bouryoku teki na Joke" with that motherfucking riff pulls at my soul so hard.

Pulling at my soul, the build up and pauses with the drums. . . so sweet. But yeah, I mean all instruments are memorable, you know what I talk about when I talk about that specific bass part, that lead guitar part, the riff, and the drumming part, not to forget the vox. It's all there.

Perfect storm of perfectly composed lines swirling together to pull you to heaven for a brief few moments.

Re: Number Girl
Tattoo あり This one really hit me today. Pulling at my soul so hard. . . I was pumping with energy had to jump around, and to be headbanging and stuff, but I was on the university campus, in the library haha. So I went for a walk in the fresh air to a little forest, and I listened to some tracks on Sappukei it was a mix of frustration in my blood, omoide in my head and passingly bliss. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqM5tPNsseU

Re: Number Girl
I've never really been a fan of Number Girl. I've always felt that they're overhyped.
Omoide in My Head came on the other day on shuffle though, and I realized I'd only ever really listened to a few of their singles/watched a handful of vids on youtube. I decided to give more of their stuff a listen.
I enjoyed a few of the songs off of School Girl Bye Bye and have probably enjoyed Sappukei most of all. Sasu-You is beastly.
Num-Heavy Metallic is pretty cool too. Especially Tombo.
I wouldn't call them one of my favorite bands, but I can see why so many IMers are big fans. Looking forward to checking out School Girl Distortional Addict next.

Re: Number Girl
I think if you dug Sappukei and Num-heavy metallic, you'll end up liking the other two albums. SGBB is honestly the hardest to get into due to the production, imo, and SGDA/Sappukei are probably the easiest.

Re: Number Girl
Tombo is the greatest song ever by them keep trying, it definetly took me a while to like them. Like years.
