I admit its cool and sounds good for the style of music he writes,
but it used to not be as good as it is right now (stuff from lives during the 15th anniversary era come to mind as particularly bad)
I mean, try watching the difference in vocals between 9/16 for the 15th anniversary and the 20th anniversary budokan concert
he's gotten way way better recently.
case and point: the 15th anniversary version of kono yo no hate made is absolutely terrible
the 20th anniversary version is almost as awesome as the album recording (although I wish he could do the ikou part the same way it is on the album but whatever)
