Been playing a LOT of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition. I'll be preordering Street Fighter X takken soon!

I realized today that being AWESOME in fighting games REALLY gets me off. I kept winning so many matches online and I just kept getting that eye rolling thing. The same one you get when you're coming. I just have to be the best! Anyone play? I must take you on

I played portal the other day...It was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

Almost done with Skyward Sword, almost completely loving it. I think it's arguably the most dynamic Zelda experience yet.

Recently acquired an xbox 360. Friday I will purchase Skyrim and go fucking beast.

Recently acquired a second controller for our 360 lol. Now I can couch-op Reach and play UMvC3 with my bro.

I purchased myself an arcade stick and been playing fighting games with it.

It isn't the greatest arcade stick in teh world..but I like it. And it was cheap! I'll be upgrading the stick to a more suitable one once I get enough money for one. I easily got the hang of it though.

And disco! It was awesome playing you. You have a pretty crazy Hsien. The thing with phoenix wright is that I've been playing with him since day 1. but up until recently I've been getting a WHOLE lot better wtih him. I would hardly EVER go into turnabout mode with him. It was rare. When I did, he'd get knocked out lol. Recently, I've been owning with him to the point that I can FINALLY get him to turnabout mode. I have learned a few combos. The thing is, his finger is so HUGE that they aren't really required. But I have done a few techniques to improve wihle in turnabout mode.

You gotta admit. I have a pretty mean phoenix wright.

I just found out they are making Roller Coaster Tycoon 3D for the 3DS.

The finger causes a ground bounce. If you do the jump H twice, the combo is guaranteed to finish because you can't ground bounce more than once in a combo. To have a good PW, you have to be able to confirm into an actual more-than-two-hit combo to convert into more damage. Anything, even something stupid like:

Jump H, land, Stand H, Stand H, Crouch H, Crouch H xx Ace Attorney

With 3 bars that's 1million. A lot more than the 240k that two Jumping Hs will land you.

Also, Frank's assist is nice, but if you're going to end up with him anchoring your team you might as well make an effort to level him up. Even doing a very basic combo and ending it with QCF+S (the picture) instead of QCF+H (the axe..?) will get you Frank's second level and his tech roll and everything. Just going alone with level 1 Frank is suicide (which is why most people have him 1st or 2nd). If you're just going to use him for the assist you might as well just pick Akuma with the tatsu assist. I'll play my Frank team with you at some point.

I 've been meaning to practise my frank west. I saw a player online do the "picture' attack than the axe attack after a combo. He then went to a special. I tried doing that, but my timing seems to be off. I've been trying to learn how to get him to a higher level. I was watching a video a few days ago about how to do just that. There was a guy who managed to pull it off with just frank west alone. He used his "there is a party in my mouth' move. Not sure what that does. BUT it 's funny when he says it.

I'll admit. Frank west is the character i know little about. Though it's always been like that. In marvel vs capcom 2. I would use captain commando as my third member and I wouldn't be that good with him. In marvel vs capcom 3 I'd use taskmaster and he was my weakest character. I guess when it comes to making a three person team. The third character I usually pick isn't my best, or I hardly ever get to use him.

In short, he levels up by taking pictures after combos. The more hits the combo has, the more experience you gain. There are really easy setups, the most common of which is to do a Team Hyper Combo (press both assists) while Frank is on point. His hyper hits OTG and recovers quickly, so if you have a partner with a long-lasting Hyper (Dante is popular for this), he has time to take a picture or two which will really boost his levels up. The other thing to do is to finish a long combo with Frank, do QCF+S xx QCB+2 atk, then on the last hit cancel into a power-up super like Dante's Devil Trigger or Wolverine's Berserker Charge, then tag Frank in and take another picture. There are a lot of setups, but basically if you're using him as your last character you're going to get stuck with him at level 1 more often than not. I think pairing him with PW is suicide since you're not really going to get the opportunity to power up both in the same fight. They're both really fun though and are obviously popular among Capcom fans... I love Dead Rising so I put some time into Frank.
