 i collect everything. i'm a fucking pack rat. my apartment is cluttered like a mofo. some of my collections.
buttons-about 75 or so- i bought a ziploc full of 'em at a comic con and now if i see a cool one i get it.
comics-close to 1000 single issues, over 100 trade paperbacks and graphic novels- i just like comics a lot. i try to get rid of single issues if i get the tp. i prefer the tps to the single issues.
'About' booklets-around 25- have you ever seen these things? they're the coolest. little educational booklets with titles like 'About Herpes' or 'About Your Right To Vote'. my favorite is 'About Dating Violence'
Video Games-about 20 consoles, maybe 200 games- i don't collect for rarity. i only collect games i like to play. Atari 2600, NES, Sega Master System, SNES, Genesis, N64, Playstation 2, Gamecube, Dreamcast, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, DS, Game.com (a small collection), etc.
i'm running out of time on the internet so i'll stop there. that's just a small sampling of my collections.

i collect AOL cd's. they are the best. you can use them as frizbees.

I use mine as coasters.
It's really pretty convenient. They get kinda disgusting after a month or two, so you just chuck it and put down a new one.

i use 'em as coasters too. i got one that came in a metal case a while back... one coaster to rule them all. this metal case kicks so much ass.

i think my metal case beats your bomb. like when paper beats rock... it doesn't make sense but it's true nonetheless.

that is pretty horribly awesome.
and what are you going to do with a bomb anyways? using a bomb is pretty loud and gets you in legal trouble, from what i hear.
