I wish I knew more about film so that I could describe what aspects of it I really like best, using the proper terminology! To me, it almost feels as though I'm watching a black and white European film from the 60's. Anyone else notice Manabe's romancing of the guitar at 1:31?

[/quote] Oh, that relationship between Manabe and his guitar....we all know it well. Yeah, I really miss the style they used in their older PV's. It makes sense that it looked like a european film, because the compilation album in which they got their name, "The Pillows and Prayers", is from the UK. If you search that up on youtube, you'll come across music videos of all the artists that made up that album. Then it becomes very obvious [i]exactly where[/i] the pillows got their influences from, because they reflected it so much. Sawao said it himself that they were initially trying to emulate the UK style, so I guess the only reason we don't see that anymore is because naturally, he got bored with it.
