That Yoko on Rescue? The preview makes it sound a bit too much like Dawn Speech 2.0

Previews seem.. as if the majority of songs might be passable >_> That's a compliment going into an album nowadays, right?

6 is kinda meh
7 picks it up again
8 Seems like meh again

Overall sound is quite nice. It's upbeat. Some songs sound catchy.
Energiia grows on me, very fast. I like it.
And TRIAL sounds pretty promising actually. Like Tidus said, it sounds warm.
I don't know, maybe this sounds a more like 'the traditional pillows'. No idea what I mean by that though. No songs pre-WU3 comes in mind that sounds similair. Yet it doesn't really sound like most recent songs. But it still sounds fresh. Hmmmm. . .Fresh from the outside, warm from the inside.

I thought the same thing. Based off of the samples, I feel like the songs on this album might be of a generally higher quality than what we've gotten on their last few albums. I'll reserve any sort of final judgement till I listen to the album in its entirety, but based on what I'm hearing so far, this looks to be an enjoyable album. It could very well be that the pillows are returing to form after a few underwhelming releases.

lol I don't see how the tone of the song in that preview reminds one of Dawn Speech at all.

I'm more anxious for this album than I was for Horn Again, so I'm satisfied.
Most of the songs sounded interesting so far... I'm probably most excited for Revival.

I was one of the lazy people.

I wasn't going to bother with them unless their was a link.

They sounds interesting.

I ultimately passed on buying Ooparts or Horn Again, but the previews for Trial leave a solid impression. From what was heard, The songs sound considerably more connective and cohesive as a whole, whereas the previous three albums seemed like a loose collection of songs. It seems like they potentially nailed it with this one, and the suspense now is to what extent they succeeded. One month away!

I saw the Trial PV on MTV Japan a few hours ago.
Pretty bitchin', in my opinion.
I recorded it (with USB HDD), but I'm not sure how, or if it's even possible, to transfer it to my computer for uploading. This is my first day being able to record TV with the USB HDD, so I don't really have a clue how to use it yet.
I'll try to figure it out, or maybe it will appear on Youtube soon.
