As far as epic boss battle themes go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HTYKmluwOwThe guitarist takes some creative liberties with it, but damn, is he good. Also incorporated the harp via piano, which is a nice touch since many other remixes/covers lack it...which is a shame since it ties the piece together.

Also we shouldn't be leaving out Maria and Draco, still one of the best pieces composed for a video game. Re: What are you currently listening to? Lufia, Lufia II, and Chrono Trigger have the fondest memories for me among video games and their themes. I didn't really get to play a ton of the FF games when I was truly young, so it was all about those three.

Re: What are you currently listening to? Dancing Mad is epic.  They started playing it on the Distant Worlds tour (FF concerts) but didn't play it at the show I went to. [/quote] The DS game is a pseudo-remake of Lufia II on the SNES. I just grabbed the first link I found, it's more or less the same song from original. I never played the first Lufia though.
