Guilty Gear XX on PSP. God I suck at conventional fighting games.

Re: What are you playing?
In addition to MvC3 and SSF4 which I play way too much, I finally picked up GTAIV and am loving it. San Andreas is my favorite, but this is coming pretty close to matching it right now.

Re: What are you playing?
Really? I thought GTA4 was very boring. It seemed like there was nothing to do but take chicks out on dates and randomly go kill people whenever someone told you to. A GTA game isn't really a GTA game if driving around killing people just isn't fun.

Are you kidding me? It's fun as fuck to do both of those things.
Last great thing I did was crash my car into an SUV, shoot it up so it explodes, then every car in the intersection kept driving into them for like, 4 hours game time. And I had a shot where Niko was eating hot dogs while watching the carnage.
Not AS fun as San Andreas but not not fun. Though I'd say the missions are more fun.

Re: What are you playing?
I'm replaying Persona 1 for the PSP to get amped up for today's release of Persona 2: Innocent Sin. I plan to play all four games.
I just beat the Snow Queen Quest for the first time today (on a Thanatos/Full Ambrosia Run.) It was pretty challenging, I gotta say. Now it's time to go back and see what the pinnacle of Devil's Peak is like. Then I'mma go do a SEBEC route and clear the Alaya Caverns.

Re: What are you playing?
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift (v2 for what it's worth) I'm playing it for the...... story.... but it's really good.... also the challenge/mission mode which is surprisingly way harder than SF4/MvC3's trials were, by far.

Re: What are you playing?
Was going to play RE5 with my girlfriend tonight, but it took 15 fucking minutes between Direct X install for her and setting up Windows Live AND Xbox Live accounts (which for some reason you have to have before it'll let you start playing the game, it seems). Half an hour doesn't appear to be enough time to start a game, and she has work early in the morning, so I guess tomorrow.

Re: What are you playing?
Just starting Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions.
I only played tactics advance, so I'm not sure if I should have high hopes or not. I also got the anniversary edition of FF1. Bonus dungeons, fuck yeah.

War of the Lions is a remake of the AWESOME original FF Tactics. Unless they dun goofed hard, you're in for a wonderful time.

Re: What are you playing?
Easily in the top 5 of the Final Fantasy series. I haven't played the psp version though, so I'm not sure if they dun goofed hard. I do know they added Balthier in and stuff.
War of the Lions is a remake of the AWESOME original FF Tactics. Unless they dun goofed hard, you're in for a wonderful time.
I was wondering this myself, if they happened to increase the difficulty post-Velius then that would be a big improvement. More difficulty in the second half, and increase the speed of the Zodiac bosses. They would be more imposing and challenging if you couldn't just gangbang them to death in a couple turns. As far as I've read this doesn't seem to be the case, however. SPEAKING OF VELIUS. Little Norbert, Prepare. Your. Anus. When you get to a castle at the center of the continent, make an extra save just in case, because Velius is at the end of a series of battles you can't disengage from, but they allow you to save in between. I say this because you may play your first run fairly straight forward without feeling the need to focus on leveling up. Velius and his cohorts cast powerful summons that will do tons of damage. Also, I just read on gamefaqs that in the psp version there are some sidequests that require some of the extra characters that come along, like Agrias' female knight companions Lavian and Alicia. Hold onto the extra characters until you can cut them loose for good. Oh, and take your NPC allies equipment. A funny thing about my first run! Neither my closest brother nor I knew you could buy equipment from castles! Don't ask me how... Playing through with mages getting ear-raped, naked knights, archers with shitty bowguns, thinking I needed priests, thinking WTF THIS GAME IS BULLSHIT. Couldn't beat the execution site battle. Yes, I got THAT FAR. At some point, I think I discovered it, and I pretty much was like YESSSSSS! and AW FUCK ABANDON SHIP! on this save and start over.
