Now that I finished Uncharted (looking forward to picking up 2, by the way) I'm focusing on Metal Gear Solid 4.

I'm really enjoying it; this is my first Metal Gear game, but even though I didn't come into it knowing much about the characters, it didn't take too long to figure out. Unlike some games, the loads of cutscenes don't really bother me and I really enjoy them for the most part. The game looks beautiful even though it came out a few years ago. I'm sticking to my preferred strategy of playing most games a few years after they come out since it's so much cheaper (I got this game for fifteen bucks. That's a great value any way you slice it.) I'll probably pick up the PS3 re-release of the other Metal Gear Solid games when that comes out in the future.

Probably going to get Dragon Age Origins, Uncharted 2, and Demon's Souls next.

Aplaca: KOTOR is one of my favorite games of all time. Played the Xbox version to death. I have it on my PC, but unfortunately it runs a little bit clunky even though the game is eight years old. I haven't gotten used to the PC controls either, I think it plays much better on a console.

I'm just going to go ahead and wait for DotA2 to come out. I don't know enough people that play HoN, which would mean I'd have to solo queue the entire time and I'd rather chop my own balls off than have to put up with that shit again. Took me a while to find enough LoL players, but now, almost every time I try to play, I have a full group of five. Plus, I'd take LoL's BR HUEHUEHUEHUAHUE and WTF THIS CHAMP IS OP AND UP RIOT WTF U DO community over HoN's "OH LOL IS SO LAME I BET YOU'RE JELLY LOL PLAYERS YOU WISH YOU PLAYED HON DON'T YOU AH HA HA YOU GUYS ARE SUCH FAAAAGZ" community.

Pretty much that ^ Same reason why I can't sit on my ass for 2 hours playing Banjo Kazooie Nuts and bolts. I love the game and custimization. But the thought of wasting an hour just making ONE vehicle just kinda turns me off.
Lately though, I've been playing Marvel vs capcom 2 and 3 and street fghter 4 online on the 360 >=)


Anyone wanna play me? I'm pretty awesome in MvC 2. In MvC3 i noticed that 'pro's' tend to just exploit the games flaws.
I was playing some guy online the other day and all he did was use that big headed dude to fly all the way to the top of the screen. He would then call his partners. Needless to say, he won cuz of time ending. Most pro players are like that. Kinda boring after a while actually. All about MvC 2

Try reading something genuinely interesting to you, playing a sport with friends, or an actual hobby for a while. Video games are kind of the same shit over and over and over again for the most part, and sometimes your brain stops being entertained when you just throw the same thing at it repeatedly. Mix it up and either take a break entirely for a while or just cut back and spend your time on other things. Alternatively, try a different kind of game than you usually play.

I'm going through Kingdom Hearts again for the sake of my Girlfriend who has never owned a single game in her life. I mentioned to her how great of a game KH was and she was totally clueless. That's when she confessed to never playing video games. I was really surprised

Anyway I got her a PS2 and started her off with the first of the KH series.

You and I are in a oddly similar boat. I lent out my PS2 and KH games, also final fantasy 1-10, to my SO.


He's not as foreign to gaming as your girlfriend, but still, I'm disturbed that he's never played any of those, given what a raging japanophile he is.

I eargerly await his rage at the first few hours of KH2.
