Once Upon A Time In The Pillows - Guitar Pro Tabs
Per voi, IM. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?7620nmqx9b2qqeh This RAR contains the songs in OUATITP tabbed out in Guitar Pro 5. It doesn't include the ones from the Best Collection Band Score that are already tabbed out. Also, if anyone wants the wah-wah on Another Morning to actually be right, they'd have to do it themselves (but it'd be cool if you shared), because all the book says is that it's turned on in some parts, so I winged it. If anyone notices mistakes, too, let me know so I can fix them. Hopefully there aren't (m)any, though. EDIT: May 8, 2012 - link updated (fixed a single note in Flag Star ).

Damn, and I had just finished tabbing Rush. Oh well, not gonna complain with a tab thats actaully accurate. I appretiate you taking the time to tab these. edit: The Verse in I Know You sounds off. The chords look right but something sounds weird with the fills.

I'll double check it when I get home. Thanks!

Re: Once Upon A Time In The Pillows - Guitar Pro Tabs
Thanks for this ShwahnStuff! I know it takes a long time to finish these, so I really appreciate it. A couple of things though. Could you specify who is playing which guitars, Sawao G1 Ect. It is obvious which is which but I want to make sure for the overdubs. I agree with Spike, that fill in the verse of I Know You sounds a bit off. In Rush the first chord of the chorus you put it down as vibrato. In the score is the vibrato line going vertical to the chord? In TYMT the pad at the 10th bar that B sounds wrong and in every other bar it occurs. Also the guitar after the solo, the octaves for the guitar are in a strange position. Is it possible one guitar plays the bass notes and the overdub plays the higher notes? In GOOD DREAMS something sounds off at the 100th bar. In every song that has a double stop bend you listed it as a double bend.
-5b7- -7b9-
But I think just the bass note is raised in pitch to make it unison and or change the tone.
-5-- -7b9-
Again Thanks.

Re: Once Upon A Time In The Pillows - Guitar Pro Tabs
Ahh, this is the stuff that's useful, TJWX5! I don't have my book on hand, but I should be able to look at it soon and check. To be honest, I don't know where in the book it says who is on which guitar. I will check out all the things involving the book this weekend, but I can say that I knew I was doing something wrong with those bends, I just didn't really know what. As for the part in TYMT, I'm pretty sure my tab and the book are identical, but there was one spot in I Know You where the book was actually showing the numbers on the wrong strings in the tab part (I checked above it; the notation was showing it correctly but not the tab), so it could be the book did that again. I'll look and fix it if so. Also, yes! That chord in Rush does have the line going vertical. I was so confused on that! I think I asked here a long while back but don't remember getting an answer, so if you know how that should be, I'd love to hear it. All this, and all of the wah-wah in Another Morning is just totally BS. I have no idea how it ought to be - it doesn't say in the book at all. Someone should fix it, if they know how to do it right by ear.

I'm probably wrong but I think it might be for a tremolo arm.

Re: Once Upon A Time In The Pillows - Guitar Pro Tabs
All right, link updated with a new RAR containing the fixes. I checked I Know You. Didn't see anything in the verse really, unless you're including the part before the chorus, because I messed with the fills in there a tad. If it's not what was being mentioned, I'd appreciate a measure number.
As for the pad in TYMT, it's fixed. GP5 was changing a note to a different semitone automatically there, and I never caught it. Good Dreams measure 100 was fine. I looked up vertical vibrato for Rush, and I'm guessing that's what it is. I don't think there's any specific way to put that in Guitar Pro, though, is there? Should be fine, I guess.
As for the post-solo guitar(s) on TYMT, it's hard to tell whether or not there are two guitars playing that part, as the guitars in the book are sharing the same row. Guitar 3 (or whichever is the extra) ends after the octave part, and then it's definitely back to Guitar 2, but it's not terribly clear whether or not Guitar 2 is still there playing the same thing as Guitar 3. I really think it is, though, and I think how I've tabbed it is correct that way. It would have specified if one was playing different notes, but it doesn't. Positive both guitars are playing, though.
Good Dreams measure 100 was fine.
Was it? I just checked through it and the vocal note in bar 100 was off. Unless I got an early version of the file and there was a stealth fix?

I checked it all, and all was good. Well, at least it all matched the book...

You have
---2--- ---1---
For the fills in the Verse, I think it should be
---2--- ---2---

Just to clarify, Currently its this This is what it should be (well I think it sounds more correct this way) and most importantly how it appears in my bandscore. FLATTEN THE NOTE Good work getting all these into Guitar Pro anyway, saves me having to get my book out each time. Do you have any other books or songs you may transfer over? I've been working on some some songs out of the books I have (saves us some overlap )

Haha, once again, GP5 doing what it likes to do makes me miss stuff. Good eye! I currently don't have any other books, but I might order a couple soon. Which ones do you have? I'll get some you don't already have.

Awesome. I was going to buy Rock Stock and My Foot. Might also try for WUx3 as well, now, though.

If you could do Last Holiday from Pied Piper that would be awesome.
