Re: toddle Is it just me, or is this album kinda boring?
Granted, I haven't given it a full sit-down, but it seems to lack the energy/noise of I Dedicate D Chord, while also lacking the great harmonies of Dawn Praise the World. Also toddle definitely suffers from "Why do they let the other guy sing"-itis. There's just not a lot of tracks that are grabbing me here....

Re: toddle I think it's about on par with the last one. Their first record was really unmemorable for me. But I'm with you on the singing part, I've never liked Ai's singing all that much.

Re: toddle I like the album! The singing is still pretty poopy, but as long as Tabuchi's playing guitar I'll listen. I could eat that distorted chorus by the mouthful.

Re: toddle Listened to I Dedicate D Chord for the first time in, like... two years? Man. I don't know what's wrong with me, it's good although the second half is kind of unmemorable. I think I like about the same number of tracks from each album, Toddle is more consistently good than a lot of other Japanese bands I like, it seems.
