Because it, like most pillows songs, is quite good.

Name one pillows song with a level of quality below a 5 out of 10. Now realize that such judgment is completely subjective, and it is only a bad pillows song to those who find its quality lacking thus. To me, as no pillows song has fallen at 4/10 or lower, they have no bad songs.

I just find a lot of My Foot very lackluster or something. I don't know. Lots of people here seem to like it, which makes me feel as though I'm missing something. Eh. The pillows are definitely my favorite band, but they have a selection of songs that I personally can't give more than a 3/10. Life Size Life is a good example of one.

I agree with this statement. Probably the only song I've never exactly been able to get into is Native World. I don't know why, but it just never clicked. However, I can appreciate it for what it's worth.

So you like Bad Dreams more than Native World.

^LOL
Native World is a candidate for my "Top 10" (if I were to attempt to make one, which I will never do) for sure. Such a great track.

Putting Native World on your Top 10 makes you a total hipster.

Too late to take off your cardigan and skinny jeans this time, Juan.

Understandably a majority of songs on each album are good. Some more than others of course but there is always that one song that lacks the quality to count for a good song. For the pillows however this is not the case. Even Bad Dreams has some quality. I've found myself listening to it from time to time back in the day when Good Dreams was relatively new.

Do not heed Aplaca's lies. It is never too late to repent, my son.

I don't have a top ten, because when you absolutely love several of a band's songs, it doesn't make any sort of sense to try to create one. I was just indicating how much I like that song. Many songs from that era could be on someone's top 10 and I wouldn't care.
Goddamit, all joking aside, I don't see why liking songs that people call "obscure" or whatever makes someone a hipster. There's so much soul put into Native World. If you can't see why someone would like it so much, it's a difference of opinion, not that the person is a "hipster" or whatever.
EDIT: I realize you're poking fun, but when it comes to my favorite music and my preference, I'm not really up for it.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I just take Bad Dreams at face value. A short little instrumental that's really friggin weird. Not saying Native World is bad, just at the bottom of the barrel for me personally. I'd prefer listening to In Front of a Locked Door or I Want to Live Like That as far as the pillows and reggae-esque music goes.

[quote="ShwahnStuff"]I just find a lot of My Foot very lackluster or something. I don't know. (figuratively) I think one thing that contributes to this, is that the record quality is very clean. And yeah, this album isn't really supposed to be a "deep" album, I guess. . .then again what album is supposed to be deep. ..it beats me. (LF and PML probably) I got to dislike the album a bit later on, because something about the drums in "My Foot" got me annoyed. . . and the song got too long. Also the Third Eye, that one repeating theme/tune can get a bit annoying, coz it's longwinded. I like the album, because it's one of the first albums (though, not all songs of it) of the pillows I listened to. Actually, it was after I heard Gazelle City that I really got into the pillows. And I still Love March of God. (or is it March of The God?)
About Horn Again. Well, Movement still does it for me. It was the only instant hit of the album for me, that still hits me. (in a good way) I think mostly because it has a nice pace in it, and it's not a too short, silly song like Give Me Up!, it's not too longwinded like Brilliant Crown, it hasn't got cheesey Engrish lyrics like Sad Fad Love and it isn't haughty like NKWB. Sad Fad Love is cool. As long as you don't pay all too much attention to the lyrics, but hey, that can't be all too hard. Brilliant Crown. . . well, it's a good song, but it can use some spicing up. Limp Tomorrow has actually grown on me, somewhere to a 7. I still don't love Nobody Knows What Blooms, like most of you guys do. But, it's a nice song nevertheless.

Why all the hate for Bad Dreams? I mean, sure, the pillows + blues rock is definitely a weird mix, but I thought was interesting to listen to.
