Hehe... Sorry, but that is what I think. I love other the pillows albums (like turn back, which is one of my favs) but for me, Please Mr. Lostman is pure gold. If I have to choose to have only one album, that would be.
Back on topic, I want to thank for the FLAC files. I can really hear a difference between those and my mp3 files (with headphones of course). I actually have the CD, but it is easier to play the FLAC files rather than put the CD.
Please Mr. Lostman is a solid album thats for sure. But as you listen to other albums like Little Busters or Happy Bivouac you'll find that they too are pretty solid albums and might change your mind. I remember a few years ago my favorite album was PML also, but I went back to Happy Bivouac and listened to the whole thing and thought long and hard on all the tracks, I found it had much more taste and it became my favorite since then.
To be fair, HB is almost a perfect album, in a sense that you can hear it complete and really ejoy it, and I can understand why a lot of you love HB. I like all the songs in HB, but PML have Swanky Street, Please Mr. Lostman, Strange Chameleon, Trip Dancer, Kanojo Wa Kyo, Ice Pick... and those are very important/cool songs (again, IMHO). I've been thinking that PML is (not by far, but) the best album since I don't know (but a lot of time), and I don't think I'll change my mind.
By the way, I also like the rest of PML, but I mentioned those because those are the main reason why I love so friggin much PML.

Re: TURN BACK...
PML is like the prelude to the style that would predominate the next three albums. Although not perfect itself, it is the prototype that was directly responsible for the perfection to come.

Re: TURN BACK...
For me, Living Field-Happy Bivouac is simply... I dunno. It's good shit. God-tier. I can't put one album on top, but I would never say that the "holy trinity" is of higher quality than Living Field or Please Mr. Lostman. Even if they are the definitive pillows albums.

(on a side note, anyone wants Turn Back? I somehow managed to get it thrice)

Re: TURN BACK...
They also have the most amount of godly songs on those albums.
I've always felt it a shame that PML isn't considered part of the trinity...It should be more of a quadrangle, really.

Holy Trinity just rolls off the tongue easier.

Re: TURN BACK...
Really, I think they have five basically flawless albums, and several almost as good.
Living Field - Happy Bivouac get my "best albums" mark, with Kool Spice, Smile, and TYMT right under that tier.
The rest are meh/ok to excellent.

Re: TURN BACK...
Living Field is IMO the strongest album of their early years. After that it becomes too difficult to pick a runner-up since Moon Gold, White Incarnation and Kool Spice all have an equal amount of amazing tracks spread out between them. A compliation Best Of from those 4 early albums would be god tier.

Turn Back wasen't a compliation, they just re-recorded a few older songs and added a couple new ones. There's only 6 tracks on the album.
