Don't get me wrong, SGBB does have great songs on it. I enjoy most of the album, especially the first five tracks and "mini grammar".

But in general, that profound feeling I get from listening to Number Girl doesn't show up much, except maybe in "Mini Grammer" and in "Omoide in my Head". I think the other songs are just really fun rocking songs, with awesome drumming and colorful lead guitar. Great, but not the NG that really moves me. Also, Mukai's lack of confidence in his vocals shows up in a lot of the tracks, with the vocals being mixed so low... but that's a minor criticism. I love the way Mukai vocalizes, it's great. But on the first album he hasn't fallen into that "comfort zone" yet.

In general, out of Number Girl's 4 studio albums, I'd say SGBB is great, and the other 3 are otherworldly. It's funny how NG has become one of my favorites bands. I wasn't expecting that one when I first started listening to them.

I Stand Alone is easily the best track on SGBB, imo.

Actually, on my iPod it's the original characters, not the romanization.

It's either "Yuiga" as seen in "Yuigaron," "solipsism," or "Tada Ware" as in "Only I."

I'd lean towards "Ware Kiritsu Tada Ware Hitori," but I'm really not sure.
