Re: [2011.1.24] HORN, AGAIN - New album
Makes me wonder what a PV for Ritalin or Advice would've looked like.

Dude, Ladybird Girl and 1989 were genius tracks, in my opinion (i.e. the one that matters to me; it doesn't matter what the community as a whole thought of it, though it's extremely nice to be one of many praising a new release). In any case, the album previews hinted at much better songs than this, so let's keep our hopes high.

It's surprising how much this reminds me of Rookie Jet now that that was pointed out.
Any ideas as to what he's saying? I can barely make out anything, but I am curious.

Yeah. It's no Shiroi Natsu. . ., but it might be about as good as Ritalin 202 or Rookie Jet which are fun songs that fit well on their album.
Re: [2011.1.24] HORN, AGAIN - New album
The PV was cute. I enjoyed it though I agree that the end result could have been something a lot more creative/random than a cookie. As for the song, it's alright. Not much else I can say about it that hasn't been said already. Remember My Foot, when they experimented with English lyrics that almost made sense?

Re: [2011.1.24] HORN, AGAIN - New album
I think the PV is easy to pick on for its weirdness, but The Pillows have always had strange PV's. If you saw 'Ride On Shooting Star' today, as the PV for a new song, what would you think?
It's kind of strange that they'd release a PV for the token Engrish closer song, but ok. I like both the PV and the song. It sounds like it could be one of the fun, rocking songs off TYMT, and the vocal harmonies are sexy.
My thoughts exactly after I saw this. Mr. Howl is a lucky man. Also, that open-faced peanut butter and ketchup and mustard sandwich looked awesome! :3

I'm surprised that this isn't your favorite pillows song to date.

Hasn't Sawao realized yet he can't sing in English anymore? There was a time he could pull off decent attempts, but everything nowadays is just plain embarrassing.

Re: [2011.1.24] HORN, AGAIN - New album
I've never liked the "Engrish closing song" thing (except maybe for Calvero) and this is one pretty close to the bottom of the pile for me.
It is becoming increasingly difficult for me to take this band seriously. But then again Ame ni mita Maboroshi and 1989 came out fairly recently and those videos didn't make me want to turn off my computer, so maybe there is hope yet.
