It's kind of strange that they'd release a PV for the token Engrish closer song, but ok.

I like both the PV and the song. It sounds like it could be one of the fun, rocking songs off TYMT, and the vocal harmonies are sexy.

I liked the single, too. My only objection was people elevating it to the status of "best single EVER!"
:) :) :) :)

also inb4 someone declares Jun Suzuki best bassist on earth and an unparalleled musical genius for crafting the bass line in this song

On the first listen, song is OK. I like Movement WAY better. This song might grow on me, but first impressions are just meh. The verse chords really reminded me of The Freed Pig by Sebadoh. Once again, I have to say I like Gloomy Night better (as well as the video) proving the pillows always save awesome stuff for b-sides. This vid was funny, but just... so out there. At least the eye candy in the Gloomy Night PV doesn't make for an awkward watch, and I think Sawao masturbating with his guitar is much funnier than anything in this new video.

I don't see why that Japanese fuck can't be creative without being bat-shit crazy.

You meant the Split Emotion PV, right?

Post Re: [2011.1.24] HORN, AGAIN - New album
ok. I just tried to summarize the reactions.

It's a good song :
That was cool as shit, want moar.

:groovin: :groovin: :groovin:

It's actually pretty good.

My sentiments exactly.

It's a good tune, though.
It sounds like:
It sounds more like 'classic pillows'

It sounds like it could be one of the fun, rocking songs off TYMT

Sounds kind of Penalty Life-y or My Foot-ish

It sounds like a Predators song
It's a bad song:
Don't like this song at all.

a bit dull and repetitive

The song was okay, not too promising to me.
I have come to the conclusion that the only truths posted so far are:
1. The solo is solid.
2. The Predators have a few good songs.
3. "What the hell is going on here."

I'd like to reinforce last mentioned sentiment: WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?
I mean, it isn't that good song, is it? I agree with Metal and Brye and Son Goshin.
"On the first listen, song is OK. I like Movement WAY better. This song might grow on me, but first impressions are just meh."
I understand GR. But Jomei and Sheer liking this song is just . .. like. . WHAT? THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?

Well, it's kinda simple. People have different opinions.

It's the return of the Engrish end song (think: Advice, Rookie Jet, Calvero) and taking it as one of those types, it's pretty fun and catchy. If it were their lead single, I'd have been disappointed.

Yeah. It's no Shiroi Natsu. . ., but it might be about as good as Ritalin 202 or Rookie Jet which are fun songs that fit well on their album.

Oh my goodness. I was just lurking when I read this. WHAT THE FUCK MAN? SERIOUSLY. Don't ever compare the pillows new stupid shit to their more superior work like Ritalin 202 or Rookie Jet. Sawao's english is going down the pipes. Is he doing it just to have that "Japanese" accent that many weebos love? Or is he just letting shit come out his ass and throw it at us the fans for the lulz? Who the hell cares, just don't compare this song to those. That's like saying, "Rap music is so much better than that beatle / rolling stones/ dylan crap." Yes, cuz I enjoy rolling on mah wheels, bitch slapping hoes for not shaking their asses, telling people I'm not going to sing or mention the amount of weed I smoke on a song titled "Smoking Blunts with Yo mama" Seriosuly!      >:[ >:[ >:[ :| :| :| :|   ^_^ ^_^

Well, metal finally went and ruined it for everyone.

Agreed. Problem is, I have little confidence that we're going to get a bombshell off of this album.

Last bombshell was, what, Scarecrow? I really loved Ladybird Girl, but I'm not sure there was any consensus on that, and while extraordinarily fun, it wasn't exactly a master opus. 1989? Great song, but it kind of flew under the radar - obviously because of how they chose to release it. That's pretty much all I can legitimately consider to be a "bombshell" since 2007.

Anyway, fuck Metal.

Edit: Saw some comments on the pillows facebook. The best part about camp is watching everybody not get it.
