What's their best album? I snagged Pleased to Meet Me because of hearing Alex Chilton on Rock Band (lol I know), wondering if there's a better one.

I've been listening to a lot of Adorable and The Swirlies. Oh yeah, and Swervedriver.

I only have their "Against Perfection" album. It's flawless in every way.

Fuck, dude, you need "Fake," it's even better, which surprised the shit out of me because I also started with Against Perfection and thought it was amazing.

I actually just got into Swervedriver. Helluva band I gotta say. I've also really been diggng Catherine Wheel lately, so I've been on a bit of a 90's shoegaze binge.

Catherine Wheel is pretty tight. I don't really agree with the vocals though. I was playing Burnout Paradise the other day, and Swervedriver came on the BGM and I was like "lolwut". Seeing as it shares a soundtrack with Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend".

Re: Artist you're currently listening to.
swervedriver got back together a few years ago but i didn't give them a serious listen until they had already played in my city, unfortunately . Catherine Wheel's okay...I've only heard Chrome, though. Check some of these bands out if you like that 90s shoegaze/jangle pop sound. I've been listening to The Pigeon Detectives and The Wombats lately, good stuff I must say.
Also AKFG's new album is a pretty solid.

Ride ain't half bad. I'd also recommend Lush and Pale Saints for that sweet shoegaze sound if you haven't gotten into them yet. Also, Catherine Wheel's "Ferment" is a wonderful album, and IMO much better than Chrome: Lush http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKCTWreqR40 Pale Saints http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8L4s00Fa2Hg Catherine Wheel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cF7UMEgou48
