Unlike the single, the new album does NOT suck ass. I'm very surprised. I'm not getting that much of a "we think we ROCK so hard" vibe from it either, which seemed to be their attitude towards music when they made their comeback a few years ago. Far from the pre-emo indie days of Pinkerton though, Rivers sounds a lot stronger vocally and lyrically. I don't even know when the album is supposed to come out, but there's a chance I might even buy it... and I haven't bought a new American cd since, well I can't even remember.

I don't love the new album, but it's better than the last two. It has its moments. "We Are All On Drugs," however, has the worst lyrics I have ever heard in a song. Ever. The rest is good, but its no Pinkerton or Blue.

I went to a Weezer concert 4 days ago
Oh my God, it was so fucking awesome. I thought I would pee my pants. center and front. It was amazing
Brian is [i]so[/i] much hotter in person. When he played the harmonica in In the Garage... (orgasms) Poor Brian needs more love... I want to marry that man. He came out after the show and talked to the fans but I didn't know he would so I didn't stick around 
And when the big =w= sign thing fell during Rivers' solo in My Name is Jonas... (another orgasm)
They played some songs from the new album... it was okay but nothing special. Then I promised myself that I would refrain from listening to their new album until I buy it when it comes out.
Best show I've ever been to. But, I haven't been to a pillows show yet so we'll see what happens :0

Matt is so fricking adorable in the El Scorcho video. But not as adorable as Brian in the Island in the Sun video with the monkeys...
Have you watched the dvd? The dvd is sooo adorable
