So the legendaries are Yin and Yang. The dark one (Zekrom) is pretty cool, but the white one (Reshiram) is ... I thought pokemon was for kids

Zekrom looks very alien-like, and it also seems to be the epitome of Pokemon badassery. Reshiram looks like some kind of end-all, god-like being you would find in the last chapter of a seinen apocapyptic manga.

Like gen 5 needs saving? The fact that it's a Pokemon game alone will mean that it'll sell tons of copies and they'll keep producing more and more gens with funkier looking Pokemon. You either just grin and bare it and let them grow on you or you drop out of it entirely. No in-betweens. If you're in-between, that means you eat cocks for breakfast. Eating cocks for breakfast is completely fine if you are a straight woman or a homosexual male. However, if you're a straight male and you eat cocks for breakfast, then that just means you're lying to yourself and everyone on IM.

I never said it would be ruining the franchise, I merely noted that these games didn't have any qualities that interested me personally.


And just because something is a commercial or even critical success, doesn't mean it's worth the money. I'd rather just save up and get a PSP, or wait for one of Nintendo's other offerings this year.

You didn't say "save gen 5 for me" you said "save gen 5." I figured that's more or less what you meant, but I felt like making a post about cocks. :3 If you feel like dropping out at the fifth generation, that's completely cool. You don't have to be into the games. I mean, 5th gen is kind of a weird area to drop out. I dropped out of Pokemon after 2nd gen and kind of because of 2nd gen, then once I got a DS, I got back into it with Pearl. Sometimes, you just need a break.

The games are, no matter how many little things they add or even net battles, almost the same thing every single time. Some people love that. I love playing through the old games and I loved playing through the new games, but occasionally you need to take a break from it. If you end up getting gen 5, then cool, you'll probably enjoy it. If you don't, it's cool, you can always get it later or wait until they either remake 3rd gen or come out with 6th gen. As long as Pokemon continues to make Nintendo money, I doubt they'll stop making Pokemon games.

So, go ahead and save up and get a PSP. If you do, I recommend getting into Monster Hunter. I'm pretty new to it and haven't played it all that much, but the 10 or so hours, maybe 20, not sure, lol, I've gotten out of it so (and I've hardly scraped the surface) have been awesome. It's a very difficult game, but it's also very rewarding. You don't grind your levels, you grind yourself. You increase your ability to play the game because it's an action game as opposed to a turn based RPG. Another good series of games, I've heard, for PSP, is the Metal Gear Solid series. I've only played the console MGS series, and they're among my favorites, but I plan on getting the MGS games myself. Especially Peace Walker. I <3 MGS3.

Also, I need to get a damned Wii. Donkey Kong Country? Monster Hunter Tri? Kirby's Epic Yarn? Yes, please. I also can't wait until the 3DS fucking comes out aghaskfghdgkhsdg.

And at Jomei: I can understand the nostalgiafags because I used to be one, but once I got to playing 4th gen, even Bidoof grew on me. Bidoof reminds me of Dan from the Street Fighter games. He's just the goofiest thing out of the entire bunch and, well, that's what makes me love him. Bidoof is definitely one of my gen 4 favorites. I even like his fat, rockabilly sister Bibarel.

WHAT THE FUCK!!??

I think the new games are going to be awesome no doubt. Adding more of the DS's 3D capabilities is a plus, and the new features we've learned about so far seem excellent. I hate it too when people say it should've ended with Blue and Red. That's false because Gold and Silver are the best games of the franchise. But anyways, it's always the same basic engine, but always no things to explore, and then the challenge of completing an even bigger Pokedex.

I am waiting for a day when they release a game where you can travel through all regions. THAT would be amazing.
