I was hesitant to make this thread because I was sure there must have been one already. There are some that are [i]kind of[/i] along the same lines, like the [i]'pillows vidoes on youtube'[/i] thread, but from what i've seen that's more for PV's and concert footage, that sort of thing. I've seen a couple covers in there, and Sheer was nice enough to point me to another thread that's a bit old, but that one wasen't specificaly geared twords getting other people to post thier covers. There was a thread for the Cover Contest and for the Tribute Album signups too, but nothing for general covers.

The reason for this thread is that I just finished putting up my first Pillows cover and was going to come here and post it but couldn't find a specific topic for it. I think this would be a good idea since we have alot of people who play here, but if it's not needed then it can just get deleted.

I added a 'pirouzu' tag to my video, so maybe if other people started doing that it'd be easier to find people from the forum on Youtube. I'm not looking for specific criticism or praise for [i]my[/i] video, i'm hoping other people will start posting thiers.

I've heard far worse covers. Gotta give him credit for trying but some more effort and actual video would have raised the production value. The english translation is never going to straight-up match to the tempo so 'cutting and pasting' the lyrics and playing the song like normal is gonna sound like shit.

Or maybe i'm just more sympathetic because I can't sing for shit either?

I lost my collection of the pillows(Ipod stolen SO FUCKEN PISSED) so i don't have any records of em and i forgot song titles :/ I need to download collection again and start jamming out The only song i remember that i like is singing in the rain The only fucken song from that album that i like.
