Are you going to get to see them for their reunion tour? I am extremely excited that I have a ticket for a show in Berkeley this June, I thought I would never, ever see them.

Well, since Men at Work is one of the greatest bands (and movies) to ever exist, it obviously couldn't be too bad.
No particular order, right? Also I'm playing with "Beatles and 60s music in general" clause so as to keep my focus on relatively new music. Mass of the Fermenting Dregs
How the hell did I not know about this band? Way better than half the shit I usually listen to. You are now my favorite person, temporarily, for exposing me to them.

While I agree with GR about noodles, Metropolis was great.
Paramore is good.

Well, since Men at Work is one of the greatest bands (and movies) to ever exist, it obviously couldn't be too bad.
Well that was a bad comparison. When i first heard them, first band I thought of was Men at Work because of the flutes and african instruments and what not. They're nowhere near as talented or creative. They just ooze this ivy league rich kid vibe that the hipster crowd just eats up.

Re: Your top 10 favorite artists
In no particualar order. it gets blurred, especially after 5...
the pillows The Smashing Pumpkins Weezer Dinosaur Jr. Radiohead Pixies Pavement Supercar The Breeders Foo Fighters
Depending on the day I got probably switch out the lower tier for Lush, Sambomaster, Nirvana... I've been listeneing to a lot of new music lately, so I've been all over the place.
And I'm going to go see Pavement if I'm still living in Chicago when they come through. I'm buying tix soon, but if I get a job in another state, oh well unfortunately.

Re: Your top 10 favorite artists
the pillows The Beatles The Shins anything by Damon Albarn Bump of Chicken ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION Coldplay Cream NUMBER GIRL Sambomaster
This isn't an all-time list except for maybe the first five artists. But yeah, I really enjoy all of them, despite me getting into NUMBER GIRL only recently. Honorable mentions: Jimi Hendrix Experience, Shugo Tokumaru, L'arc~En~Ciel, Sukima Switch, and Toe.
