Re: the pillows 2010 US Tour!!!
Benihana could be fun and it's only a few streets down from the Museum of Modern Art. There is one in Pittsburgh and one of my teachers lives there so I'll ask him if he's ever gone. Of course the value and quality depends on the cooking staff, I looked up benihana reviews in other cities and the restaurant in D.C. closed, apparently due to shitty cooks. I'm down for sandwiches or pasta or whatever, just no fast food joints, please.
Just ordered a non-refundable plane ticket, so I'll be seeing you soon, Brye and Ishan.
Have fun. So tempting to go to SF. But it makes no sense to go if they play the East Coast. @Cloudy: I vote no Benihana. It's a chain and it's honestly not that awesome. Nothing against chain restaurants, I just think it's silly to miss out on something unique in a big city. @kriz: You went to Anime Boston? Yeeeah. The people running it left a lot to be desired.

Re: the pillows 2010 US Tour!!!
I'm willing to fly just about anywhere to see the pillows this year. So if they go to New York, that's where I'll go just for the big concentration of IMers there.

I stood in line for about 12 hours on Friday just because I hadn't preregistered. It's a damn good thing I was there with friends and staying in the hotel because I would have just walked out and grabbed the first train home in disgust. And then on Saturday they closed the doors and let no one into the main hall where the pillows were playing just before my part of the line got to the entrance, citing that it was against the con regulations to let anymore in even when people were leaving in droves during the opening band. when I complained about it on their message board they passed the buck and said they were just doing what the pillows' manager had instructed. never going back there again.

Who all is going to the Pomona show? It's the day after my girlfriend's 21st, so we may or may not be able to make it (possibly going to Vegas for that?), but hopefully it'll work. XD
cool @ MONOKURO playing but wtf is a POP CHOCOLAT?
http://www.delicious-label.com/popchocolat_e.htmlhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StdYQtXfiUMWhat's with Delicious Label artists and Cyclone/Mustang usage? Cyclone in Pop Chocolat, the pillows, and noodles Mustang in the pillows, monokuro. I've noticed this in a good amount of other Japanese bands too, though I can't think of anyone else besides Mo'some Tonebender. Is the Cyclone/Mustang use a Japan thing? Cause they seem to be much less common over here. So Pop Chocolat. They sound alright, but I really wasn't a fan of the vocal style..

Re: the pillows 2010 US Tour!!!
What's up guys! I've been lurkin' these forums for awhile for new pillows info, and since I've missed all the past US Tours, I'd really like to try and make it to one of their shows this time around. So can anybody tell me if New York has been confirmed yet, and if tickets are on sale for it? I'll be going to that show if it's confirmed, and although I don't know anyone on the forum yet, it'd still be cool to meet some fellow busters at the show.

That's just fail on their part. Some of the con staff were just... ugh. @Buster13 and anyone else who wants to know about show dates... please see the big announcement thread at the top of this section of the forum from now on.
