If they nail down this NYC show I'd like to meet you guys there

Yeah, if I go I'd like to check out the city a bit more. The reason it's a little iffy at this point is that I'm not sure if the free lodging arrangements I got the first two times (Hellertown, PA, still about two hours away) can be made this time but it's still early.

Don't hold your breath but I may be able to provide lodging for people in or very near the city, I live in Hoboken so I'll try to arrange... will let you know. Stand by on tour announcement.......

Any clue when the SoCal or NYC shows are going to be? Can't make the SF show, so hopefully one of those other two has timing that works for me.

I just really hope they announce the other dates soon. If they skip Chicago for a second time, I need to start making plans now to make a road trip to one of the other shows. There's no way I'm missing another tour

I'm betting on most of the setlists looking very similar to that. the pillows have a ton of songs to choose from to surprise me with, but really. You're pretty much guaranteed the singles, a few FLCL classics, and fucking Rock 'n' Roll Sinners.

Needless to say, I would be disappointed. Not only for song selection, but if the pillows were to go out there and only play 12 songs, I'd feel cheated. I can see them playing an 18 song set.

I'd be down if there's a SF meetup. Wherever, whenever - I have a SF street address and a car, so if somebody organizes one, probably wouldn't be anything stopping me from going.

Eh, we pretty much know something close to that's the truth - As much as we can cross our fingers for all the dozens of other songs we'd each like them to play, we're gonna get singles and a few other assorted songs from Penalty Life through OOPARTS and FLCL songs. Thankfully most of those singles (hello Third Eye) are still pretty fucking awesome, and as much as we'd all like to hear other older stuff, all the FLCL songs they'll play are still fucking awesome. But whatever. We're still going to bitch at what we're getting compared to what they've been playing in Japan. The Japanese are going to bitch when we get stuff they hardly play in Japan nowadays. And all's going to be normal with the world.

oh god I hope they play alot of OOParts. Dance with God live? hell yeah! Johnny Strobe, I'd shat myself. Lemon Drops? get outta my way! damn I cant wait for these shows!
