I'd like to go to a Seattle or New York show just to go to Seattle or New York, but if there's one in Chicago I'll go there unless circumstances take me elsewhere.

I live in Iowa, so the closest the pillows would get is probably Chicago again.

Iowa is indeed full of corn, in case any of you were wondering. Also, pedophiles. They hide in the corn--scary place.

But A) Holy shit, AAA'ing that many songs must be mind-numbing (AAAs are impressive on their own right, but a ton of these songs are just straight-up easy and boring)

I'd all but lost the passion I once had for the Pillows until I saw this thread and the flame that had lay dormant was reawakened. Making it to New York in May will be my primary objective in life.

Erm, all that aside, I was hoping some of you who were at the 08 tour could give me a feeling of what to expect. Do the Pillows bring just their new library of music, or did you hear songs from their 90's catalog? Hoping for the latter, as that would increase my anticipation exponentially.

They've generally done a mix of FLCL-era songs and new songs from their most recent releases.

Brye, I doubt "our band" (the other two members) would want to go see these guys, but as for you and me, let's ditch school if it's a weekday and I'll pick you up and let's spend the whole day there, possibly meet up with mare and jomei.

This startling fact just occured to me: What if we ended up having a gig that day?! That would suck.

Lets not think about that right now. We should pray and be patient that they will play at SF again.
