But yeah, there was no doubt some criticism over Penalty Life and Good Dreams. Their COMPARATIVE mediocrity is a reason we don't have thejedipunk anymore. But now that we're in the future, we're in a better position to analyze their entire discography and compare PL/GD with their mid zone, jazz zone, etc.

If we can all agree that the quality of releases is definitely declining, how far is it going to go until we just stop giving a shit?

I don't know. I don't think the recent stuff is bad or whatever... I find myself listening to the pillows' entire discography from time to time, and finding enjoyment in it (even the newest stuff).

Rodeo Star Mate/Sad Fad Love is all good in my book. Not Kanojo wa Kyou pwnage, but still good enough to yield some good vibes if they play at the right time.
