It's hard to dispute this to be among the weakest offerings compared to the rest of their singles discography, even just the last few years. I'll take it over Ameagari but just about nothing else. (Gazelle City doesn't count, nor does Electric Rays but if they were proper releases I'd take Rodeo Star Mate over them too)

Man, I felt like I got my money's worth with the New Animal single, but I'm thinking this one just isn't worth it for a music video and a sticker. What is the sticker, anyway? A copy of the mutants riding the horse on the cover or something else? I'll just stick with the Budokan dvd when I can save for it.

Too many damn releases. A lot of better decisions could have been made for the pillows on their 20th anniversary. At least the DVDs are strong.

I'd trade in the single, Budoukan, Blue Poppies acoustic set, AND Pied Piper tour for a re-recording of Living Field OR Kool Spice.

Sounds like a nice product for an anniversary, but trade up that much? That shit is bananas...

Rodeo Star Mate is fun and so is the PV.
And I feel the same way about Sad Fad Love being possibly better if it were sung in japanese but still a good song.
I really want Sawao to take english seriously though...atleast Subhuman was creative.

I finally got a chance to listen to the new single, and I really like Sad Fad Love. The chorus is great, in my opinion.

True. There's some genuinely good lines in Subhuman, as well as Gazelle City. But then you get your fair share of stuff like "IT'S FAIL TO BE WEEDHEAD."

Oh it is, I couldn't agree more. I was just giving an example of a completely out there Engrish lyric. Over Amp is amazing, which is why I mentioned it in my mini rant on the last page.

I have a feeling that one year, the pillows will just move into the studio and remake all of their albums. I'm not sure how I'd feel though, if they re-recorded Kool Spice and it ended up sounding like the Rock Stock tracks.
