That game is infuriating sometimes. You know what, no. It's infuriating all the time.
Still fun, though.
Also, Bayonetta, Borderlands and Valkyria Chronicles. Not infuriating, but very fun.

How great are they? I've heard good things of both, but I haven't gotten around to buying either one of them.
In short, on a scale of 1-10, how much should I want to play these games? One = as much as I want to give grandma a sensuous sponge bath, ten = as much as I want to be a salmon.

 Re: What are you playing?
I'd give Mass Effect a 7 or 8 and ME2 an 8 or a 9. The first one feels less like a shooter by far.

 Re: What are you playing?
Friend of mine has got me into Fire Emblem, currently playing Path of Radiance with relative ease, and getting my ass kicked in Shadow Dragon for the DS.

I've been playing Heavy Rain (over and over with different groups of friends). I've never seen a room full of people be so immersed in a single player game.

I didn't even realize that game was out yet. How is it?

I finished Assassin's Creed a couple of weeks ago. Fucking ace game! Can't wait to play the sequel, which I've been told is 10x better.

Really well done. Indigo Prophecy was sort of crap (that's the game that David Cage made before Heavy Rain), but this one is near perfect. It's incredible how tense certain situations make you feel, and the way they create sympathy for all the characters is astounding. Totally worth the money.
I really want to get Mass Effect 2, but I thought the first one was a bit lackluster in pacing (and the whole "RPG" system was sort of stupid, I don't think I changed my equipment once throughout the entire game). I hear the second one is a godsend?
