Also, have to add something I missed between going back and forth from my computer to cooking curry. While I like Melody a lot more on the album than I did the live, it's still not all that amazing to me. I dig the prechorus and solo, and would have liked the chorus a lot more if Shin didn't do that damned drumbeat there (not a big fan of it for extended periods, only as a sort of transitional thing).

Apologies for the double-post, but the Engrish in LEMON DROPS is actually pretty damn good, it's just sung badly. Lyric-wise, most of it is great. I dig it.

I'm pretty sure this album is going to end up being my least favorite pillows album as a whole (considering all of their albums, that's not saying I hate it all... just that a lot of the songs didn't deliver anything for me musically). Not to say I hate it... but a lot of the songs on here just... sit there. Primer Beat was great. I also liked Beyond the Moon, and of course, Ameagari. The rest of the tracks were just good to below par for me.

These songs are pretty far removed from anything in PIED PIPER... I mean... it's just really hard to state how I feel about this album right now.

OOPARTS rocks. WWE image jokes aren't funny. Disagree? Fuck you.

Awesome! Thank you so much for the upload! Hmmm, seems to be some dissenting opinions here. I'll save judgement til Friday. Going to see Dinosaur Jr. live tomorrow, so I'm going to have to try to get off that kick before I start another one. I know if I listen to OOPARTS now, I'll probably be distracted at the concert. Now hopefully my eardrums won't be destroyed by Friday... Thanks again for the upload though!

lol you can disagree with my opinion about the album all you like, but calling a moderator a bitch is just asking for it.

Though it certainly says something for how bad this album really is that the best defenses the pillows apologists can come up with are shitty and unfunny macros.
