Ironically the "Who" part of "The Who" and the "Fu" part of "Kung-fu" are written the same in Japanese.

Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation I'd say I'm a fan of AKG to some extent. Listened to Sol-fa on repeat for, like, a month last year. Re:Re: is friggin' awesome. In general, they're pretty catchy (I find it good to listen to at night, for some reason), and I like some of the stuff that their drummer does. Didn't really care for Gotou's vocal style at first, but it grew on me.
However, I find that their music does seem kinda homogeneous at times…

Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation The only Ajikan album that I shy away from is Surf Bungaku Kamakura (or w/e its called). It's not terrible but it definitely isn't up to par with their other stuff.
Also, their best album is Fanclub. Anyone who agrees earns one Schrute Buck.

Re: Asian Kung-Fu Generation Personally, my favorite album is World World World. People always criticize me for this, but I think as a whole, that album is fucking amazing. It has a whole different, much more vibrant vibe. There isn't one song on World World World that I don't like.
