Bloc Party is my new favorite Western band. They've got some really nice songs, and the lyrics remind me of something from an Ajikan or pillows song. The first album Silent Alarm reminds me of Asian Kung-Fu Generation (Ajikan), but the second album, Weekend in the City, is just... I dunno, different. I like Weekend in the City the best. Intimacy, their third album, is a big shift in my mind, from alt. rock to something significantly more mellow, which I disapprove of.

Thoughts/comments? Excellent songs to look up by them are Hunting for Witches, I Still Remember, Helicopter, Banquet, and Little Thoughts.
