Not all english versions suck. I'm having a difficult time convincing my brother of this. Some good dubs, in my opinion...

Abenobashi- I grew to love the accents
Given the choice, I prefer to watch the original Japanese, but you must admit that the English voice actors are improving.

I wouldn't consider Steven a great mind. Maybe a great guitar player. There you go, take somebody own a peg and bring him back up just enough to keep you in good graces with that person. Classic routine.
