I'm catching up on all these videos... Amkun, yours is awesome! I really feel like your video captured the spirit of the pillows.

And the FoTP video... omg... :wub:

How do I keep missing these amazing covers? My favorite part of this one was how they incorporated one of my favorite quotes ever into the video.

My top five looks much like yours, GR with a few differences. For example, I really liked Ureshii's Girls don't Cry for some reason. But I can't help feeling a ton of bias toward you and Mare's video, just because I like the song, I haven't seen many oldies covers in my limited browsing, and because I still like the story behind it.
The winners of the cover contest, 'Road to Budoukan' will be announced in about a day and a half! I wanted to share a few of the ones I liked (more later).

* Rookie Jet cover
* Fool on the Planet cover
* Tonight
* Kono yo no hate made (piano)
Awwwww, we have such similar tastes in pillows covers. Thanks terra. :wub:

The top 20 lol.

TBH though, I think it might end up being broken down according to the styles of covers...like straight up covers, good video covers, original interpretations, live performances/single-shot recordings...I'm sure there are other things you could divide them up into. It's hard to really tell what's going to win from here now, since the top 20 are all exceptionally good covers (well, the punk rock ameagari's not my thing, but yeah).

The best of luck to all of you. Except you losers who didn't make it into the top 20.

Note: I don't know how to say good luck in Japanese, so I wouldn't recognize it, but the first person to say something that looks like it might be that is getting sternly looked down upon.

Since I already have a ticket and all that, I don't really mind if I don't make the Top 5 if it means Mare or Amkun can make it in in place of myself! That means MORE OF IM AT BUDOKAN! The west needs to REPRESENT the pillows in Tokyo this time! :lol:
