OK. My mom wants me to try and get a ticket anyways, in case I don't win.

So how exactly do I go about getting one? I posted on the pillows forum like Brye... but I've also heard about Yahoo! Auctions...

Man, I really wish I had the money to pay for the whole trip. With the ticket and $500 i would have gone (As it would have been split by Utsu and me) but now D: Unless I freaking win the lottery or something.

Well, my mom booked the flight today. So it looks like I'm going whether I find a ticket or not (turns out those tickets weren't refundable, lol).

SO NOW THE SEARCH BEGINS

I'm looking everywhere I can for a ticket to the show, but I'm having trouble navigating Yahoo! Japan's auction site. I've been asking around, and Brye said he'd help me out as well. Wish me luck in my search!

Hopefully I'll get into the top five, but in the meantime, searching for a ticket won't hurt!

I'll try to ask my friend if she can do anything to help. If she could find someone who is willing to sell their ticket
or something. Hopefully your one of the winners so we don't have to worry. But I hope that we do get this

Yeah, I found a site that's going to start offering tickets on the 20th, but I don't know if I can get one from there because I'm from overseas.

but I agree with pretty much everyones sentiment. those who cheated to get into the top 20 prolly arent good enough to win anyways. As I have told grey, it really just sucks, cause there are a lot of fantastic entries that won't even get a lick of consideration. But I am sure everyone agrees with this statement as well. We could petition avex, and it may work, they did change the rules once to accommodate demand via increasing the deadline date. I am not sure what exactly was Avex's rational when deciding on this top 20 format, but we only have a little bit of time remaining.

We could do an, albeit lame, online petition. Anyone have any other ideas?

Yeah, I think that sentiment has been generally accepted around here, until Little Bastards brought it back up.

Anyways, I don't even care about the contest anymore. I'm going regardless so it doesn't matter to me (though that $1,000 would take care of my plane ticket cost).
