Re: the pillows 20th Anniversary Overload! New Releases
I've heard it is the same recording as the one that was on Blue Poppies.

Excuse me for being a bit off-topic: You can rent CDs in Japan?

Re: the pillows 20th Anniversary Overload! New Releases
Oh my god. WHY THE HECK HAVE I not been paying attention to the pillows for the past few months? ;_;
I Want to be Sullivan re-recording? The original was my favorite pillows song! This is so cool. The other re-recordings aren't bad either, that voice at the start of Funny Bunny is awesome.

I like the look the pillows are sporting in this video. Hopefully it's sign of a return to earlier pillows fashion sense.[/quote]
WOW. This is some pretty sick shit.

Re: the pillows 20th Anniversary Overload! New Releases
Hmmm. The "new" songs sounded pretty good but nothing mind blowing, I still need to wait for "Ameagari..." to make a better decision. I didn't like the Funny Bunny "cover" though.

Re: the pillows 20th Anniversary Overload! New Releases
Whoa! Long time no see gentlemen! Been reading up on all the good stuff coming out since rock stock and such earlier this summer, and after adding RS I was perusing my collection and found some missing items! (<<points at excessive use of exclamation marks) Would there be anyone that would get me what I need? I can trade ya some "feelin' groovy", or maybe a "liberty" rip from "something else". #1.. HOW DO I NOT HAVE FOTP? that song is essential. #2... ameagari #3... the link for the second best of didn't work for me. It kept sending me to some other website sad buster over here. #4.. I will take another gander tomorrow morning and see if something seems out of place. THANKS, oh, and sorry to be off topic, but congrats to all who did the road to budokan, and the tip of my hat to GRG, mare, and tid. Was kind of hoping to see Keitaro do some amazing work however. hope someone from here wins!

Re: the pillows 20th Anniversary Overload! New Releases
New album is announced! Not much information about it yet...
Release is 10/14 and there will be a limited version with DVD. "OOPARTS" usually stands for "out of place artifacts" unless they changed the meaning here.

Re: the pillows 20th Anniversary Overload! New Releases
With only one single out that means this album is going to be mostly ALL NEW material!
Tracks I think will be on the album:
Ameagari ni mita Maboroshi (duh) MELODY (more than likely, since it's not a B-side) Chealsea Hotel (album version so basically new) OOParts (I saw this on a setlist a LONG time ago... remember? I'm sure this is a title track)
The rest is anyone's guess! So basically, we get to see an electric version of Chealsea Hotel... studio version of MELODY, and a song that the pillows have been playing as early as last year (and that's also the title track/album name), OOParts.
This could be awesome.
