Their older videos are kind of boring, but cute. I wish Sawao would cut his hair like that again and bring back the Hybrid Rainbow sweaters, and the dangly gold earings.

I wish he did that too. And the fluffy hair he had in the Coinlocker Babies video.

Good find Little Norbert,
haven't seen this PV before. ("...aah yes I remember now, back in the old days .. .. ..Monochrome Lovers  , bittersweet sensation")
Never realized it had a sax in it.
So much left of the pillows, that has yet been undiscoverd.

The next time this thread gets resurrected I expect to see a PV for Ami ni Utaeba.

Not sure if anyone looked this up yet, but I was inspired after Mr. Lostman pointed out the line "We're gonna last as long as them Monochrome Lovers," referencing the list of classic film characters in the lyrics. I thought that line was adorable as shit, and I wanted to find the movies Sawao's talking about.
RUDE' MICHAEL & PATRICIA
'DRIFTER' CHARLIE & GEORGIA
'OLD LOVERS' RICK & ILSA
'GIGOLO' LEONARD & CHRISTINE
'MAD HUSTLER' EDDY & SARAH
'HONEST' BUDDY BOY & 'SLOW' FRAN
Michael & Patricia: Pat & Mike (1952)
Charlie & Georgia: City Lights (1931) - Note: Charlie Chaplin wanted to have actress Georgia Hale in the movie. Portions of the film were shot with Hale, but Chaplin didn't have the time or money to complete it with Georgia entirely, so she isn't actually in City Lights. Georgia Hale was the heroine in Chaplin's "The Gold Rush."
Rick & Ilsa: Casablanca (1942)
Leonard & Christine: Witness for the Prosecution (1957)
Eddie & Sarah: The Hustler (1961)
Buddy Boy & Slow Fran: The Apartment (1960)

Just in case anyone was curious! Patricia: Pat

Am I the only one that thinks that's a terrible haircut? XD (Super old post, and thread altogether, but still...)

Nice find! I've always wanted to know those references. I got "The Hustler" one, but I couldn't get the others.

I'm kinda curious if those movies were the inspiration for the lyrics in some pillows songs. After all, Sawao mentioned once in an interview that he wanted his lyrics to have a movie theme to it.

Take it to the MEMBERS PAST AND PRESENT.

Though. I was just going to ask that myself.
