OK, I'm sorry to bust... but today I played FLAG STAR and immediately it clicked. I've listened to it five times in a row... I fucking love it.

Actually, "The Pleasure Song" clicked immediately with me too. So that was the last song that instantly became a fave of mine.

Now, the last song that seriously CLICKED with me upon starting was "My Foot". Holy shit, that song is awesome.

None of my favorite songs ever [i]clicked[/i] with me the first time I heard them. I'm usually really bored by the first listen.

It's not always the same. I have some favorites that clicked immediately, and others that didn't at first. I used to hate Frontiers, but now it's one of my favorites.

Now, songs like "Last Dinosaur" and "Kim Deal". Well, for me, when I first heard them, it was the first time I'd heard music like that in my life, and I loved them from the first second I heard. Especially Last Dinosaur. To this day, I don't think I've ever been as obsessed with a song as I used to be with that one.

I loved Frontiers the moment I heard it for some reason. Well, Good Dreams was my second CD I ever bought
out of their discography so, I loved all of the songs on there, except Bad Dreams, that was not a good choice to
place in that album.

But soooo many songs have "clicked" for me, I remember Hybrid Rainbow, Funny Bunny, Strange Chameleon, Swanky Street, Kanojyo wa Kyou, etc.... But the one I remember the most, was GOOD DREAMS. The minute I heard that short
clip off of the official website, I had my head face down on the keyboard, it BLEW ME AWAY

Yeah, Good Dreams has perfection written all over it - Manabe's opening riff coupled with that unique rhythmic motif by Sawao. That song is just awesome.

Good Dreams is the last album I actually got to. For a long time I avoided it for some reason. That song, however, is definitely one of the pillows' finest. The chorus... the guitar solo... and the end chorus... Oh man, awesome.

The first time I heard songs like Patricia, Swanky Street, Kanojo Wa Kyou, etc, I just said to myself "Whoa, I need to hear that again." Those songs really clicked for me. That happened to me with New Animal, and Flag Star, but not with 1989. Nothing on Wake Up was 'love at first sight' for me, besides Scarecrow. It took me a while to get used to Propose, even though it's awesome.

I fell in love with 1989 right away. You could say it was love at first listen

I like the look the pillows are sporting in this video. Hopefully it's sign of a return to earlier pillows fashion sense.

That has to be one of the best possible album covers I've seen so far.
I mean, just look at it. And yes, their fashion sense seems to be returning to the old cargo
pants and running jackets

Btw, anybody hear about the rental CD for the Rock Stock preview? It has an acoustic version of Ameagari ni mita maboroshi on it...I'd really like to get ahold of that if anybody knows how to find it.
