Looks like they're a legit band. If they have some followers, and if they have a myspace, maybe an email list, some Facebook spamming...it's possible they're not viewspamming. why don't you ask the guy? didn't he post here a few times?

Even if anyone is view spamming, it's not like there's anything anyone else can do about it.

If you're going to view spam, you have to know how.

Look at the Fool on the Planet cover. It's been at 328 ALL DAY. That person must've viewspammed from the same IP. There's no telling how long that view count will be frozen. Though there's no way to tell for sure if its viewspamming that's the problem or not. But I have heard that IPs that hit their video 200 times plus get "punished" with a view freeze (until legit views make up for the fakes).

It's probably really really easy to figure out how to viewspam...google could probably tell you how with zero effort.

Maybe Kazenomirai? I think he said he was a fan for 10 years or something a while back. Whoever it was did a pretty damn good job, though I lol'd hard at how they did almost the same thing Jomei jokingly suggested (starting with 1989 and incorporating that into a different cover song).

Yeah I did too, it was a nice touch either way. It was nice how he incorporated "please catch this my song" in replace of "My song is your song"

@ Mare: Oh, I'm fully aware of how to viewspam. And it IS EXTREMELY easy to do.

Which is why I don't agree with the criteria they are using for choosing the top 20. If people really wanted to cheat, we'd all have view counts into the tens of thousands.
