Post Re: Shin-chan
Uh, Shin's a good drummer, but he's hardly a beast. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Buddy Rich, Neal Peart, and the like, but Shin isn't even that remarkable in the context of just pop rock percussionists. What I like most about Shin is his personality, and the silly gestures he makes while playing. I don't even know what he is saying half the time, but it's still entertaining whenever he talks.
TWILIGHT PARK WALTZ
Goddammit, how many times must I correct this? It's "(The) Park ~Twilight Waltz~". The "tasogare no Waltz" part is a subtitle to the main title, "kouen." Terra should fix that on the main site so my OCD over correct song names doesn't drive me nuts. :dizzy: :dizzy:
Ni nin?
In Japanese, the kanji (chinese characters) for futari = [2] + [Person], which *can* be read [ni] (2), [nin] (person), but since the Japanese already had a word for "two people," futari, they read it as such. It's kind of annoying how there are different ways of reading certain characters, but whatever.

There are some mp3s of Kimi to Futari as being titled "Kimi to Ni Nin." My reply-- butchering song names for the lolz.

Sorry if that wasn't the clearest, but I'm not very good at explaining things simply. (I'm also assuming you have no experience with Japanese, which makes it a bit harder to explain, so don't be offended if it seems like I'm being condescending, because I don't mean to be.)

Yeah. It's pretty basic stuff you get frustrated at when you're learning to read Kanji.

I don't know how reliable the information here is, but from what I've seen, I'd say there's a good chance it's true:

http://www.discogs.com/Loods-Stop-Fucki ... se/1838335

Another '80s punk band that Shin-chan drummed for (at least for a little while)? The last name isn't there, but really, how likely is it there's another Shinichiro who plays drums in punk bands from that time? If it's right, then it looks like he did it after he was in the 305 and before the Pogo.

Even if this isn't him, Shin-chan still seems to have the most experience of the pillows members and has been a part of more bands than any of the others. Of course, the pillows are my favorite. :groovin:

Also, I believe I read that the Loods are now known as Groover (with Loud Machine in between).

Just thought this was interesting, if nothing else.

Nice find, yeah it seems to be him. If you follow the link on his name,
it shows his profile and it includes his current status being in the pillows.

Nice find
