Trigun was alright, buy did anyone find Vash unreasonable about murder and death? I agree life is precious, but some people gotta die. If you go around destroying innocent lives, you forfeit your right to exist. This is what I believe. I would be more than happy to support Vash's ideals, but sometimes I wanted to knock him upside the head. Poor guy.

I thought that was kinda the point. Anyone who knows what happens to Legato can see that Vash had to come to terms with his own ideals. But I for one still agree with him for the most part- I don't think we should kill anyone, no matter who they are, unless it's [i]absolutely[/i] necessary.

Ah! Okay. I agree, I would not want to be the one to take the life of someone, but, if their continued existence costs the lives of many...uh, they gotta go.

The idea is that deadly force must be the [i]absolute[/i] last option. Vash strived to find nonviolent, or at least non-deadly, solutions to problems whenever possible. Even if we think someone deserves death, I don't think any person has the right to give it to them.
