Glad you came around to see how awesome that game is. :D[/quote]

I hated it at first - too many things to learn. However, now that I know how to play (the sniper, at least), I now enjoy it.

Since it's been almost a week since this started, and I haven't "officially requested" anything as of yet, according to the rules I can request all of these... correct?

DRUMS:
Bokura No Harei Susei
Ice Pick
Skeleton Liar
Moon Marguerite

Also, please explain who will be in charge of compiling/mixing everything, because I do this kinda stuff for a living and would be interested in doing it. Plus, there needs to be quality standards set and all kinds of other technical recording issues.

Yeah, I'm sure you can take all those parts. Not sure who's mixing everything either. Glad to have you doing Ice pick and skeleton liar with me. XD

I would be interested in doing all of the drumming if no one else steps up, I just want to get those four out of the way first. I'll have to see how it all goes though.

Really? Tell me more about your chosen occupation. It seems like you're the man for the job.

That would probably be a good idea, if you drummed on as many of them as possible, really. However, it's a shitload to do, so if you could rank them, in order that you want to do them, it would be convenient.

I just managed to snag a bass, so I'll start work on Aisu Pikku ASAP.

I'm a video editor mainly, but along the way have done everything involved in A/V production. Also, I've been playing and recording in bands since I was in high school, so I'm pretty familiar with recording techniques, mixing, etc.

The first step to this project should be to gauge everyone's aptitude and experience when it comes to playing and recording music. Obviously this is not going to be a professional endeavor, but there should be some standards that we adhere to, like recording methods. Ideally, everyone would use decent microphones and record their tracks into some sort of digital workstation like Pro Tools, and then render out 44.1MHz WAV/AIFF files which could then be mixed together. However, I'm sure everyone will be coming to the table with different amounts of experience/pro gear, so we'll have to deal with it on a case-by-case basis.

Also, since it seems like everyone is going to have to record their parts by themselves, we should make some edited "click track" versions of each song; where in basically there would be an added "count off" before each song, so ensure everyone starts off and remains on time with each other.

These are just some basic thoughts about the process though, does anyone else have suggestions?

Now we're getting somewhere!

I don't have any professional equipment at all. If I was still in school, I could use the equipment they have there... but it's summer. I'm home. All I have is a piano and a camcorder. No recording devices for audio, no microphones, etc.

Well we need to set something straight.

Is it possible to do this whole album with different recording methods? ie; camcorder, pro tools, acid pro, ect.... and mix them all in at a reasonable quality?
