If you guys need a bassist, I'll be down for it. It's not like the pillows have any sort of difficult bass lines, so if I don't know it, I can learn it pretty quick.

Alrighty, sounds good. I'm not an amazing vocalist though, haha, but I'll practice that and singing in JibberjabberJapanese speak.

I can sing, play rhythm, and play some of the lead lines. However, I'm not sure how good the built-in mic on my computer is, and my guitar amp is in storage.

Hmm, yeah. The mic on my computer may be an issue too. I might have to get another one.
As for shooting the vid and uploading the audio through the computer, i'm gonna have to get something for that too if we do it that way.

I'd love to participate but I need to get a better understanding of how some things work on Sonar Home Studio 7 XL. Like, I'm sure it's simple stuff that help menus could solve. The studio instruments drum kit sounds nice, I bet I could get some simple beats up and running if I put a little time into it soon. I have quite a bit of school work to do for the short film I'm making though. Maybe in a few weeks I'll have something that I could make a claim for when my school workflow dies down a bit.

I'd highly prefer someone with good language skills to do the singing, though. "JibberJabberJapanese speak", as h2 put it, doesn't sound ideal to me. Nothing against backup vocals for anyone to contribute but I really it'd be best if someone could sing in Japanese rather than just wing pronunciations and try to mime Sawao's recorded vocals...

HAY. To start with, how about you guys pick an engrish song and clean up the phrasings a little bit? That way, non-fluent Japanese speakers could sing an english lyrics pillows song comfortably. Fuck, if I had a *Good* microphone I'd try that at the very least. Purple Apple and Mr. Droopy would be hella easy, just change "That's like popular song" and "have no seeds" to "Just like a popular song" and "has no seeds". Just a thought.

Those are old, you should see him now, I'm good friends with him. He is pretty talented.
Also, the thing he was doing last year was all instrumental, and it was pretty fucking cool. Audio only.
From what I've seen from your old covers GR, he is better (now). But then again those are old.

itaffy13's old covers may suck, but he is pretty damn good. He got me into playing seriously.
