 Beautiful Picture Idea
Well I was planning this out for some time, but I think it'd be cool if all of us recorded one instrument on video and then add all of the other parts into the video as well to make one fucking awesome cover. I've got all of Sawao's parts down flawlessly so all we would need is: Lead Drums Bass Vocals Now this is just an idea, but how about some imput? *Edit Forgot to add two instruments! Tamborine Piano

 Re: Beautiful Picture Idea
I'd like to do lead, but I don't have a wah. for the solo, wah is essential.

 Re: Beautiful Picture Idea
Awesome : ) but you are right, wah is essential.
hmm, you could make the wah noise by humming?
xD

 Re: Beautiful Picture Idea
1. Making sure everything syncs up could turn out extremely hard. Make sure you guys have the drummer record first before anybody else adds their line on top of it, and preserve all the tracks as separate takes as well so that somebody with some mixing skills can get them all to the proper levels and sync them up well.
2. Grey, you really should buy a Wah pedal mang.

 Re: Beautiful Picture Idea
Yeah, that's what the major issue is, the sync up.
Well drums obviously have to be recorded first so we can actually keep rhythm lol.
Maybe we could do more songs if this actually goes well.
It'd be a lot of fun to say the least.

 Re: Beautiful Picture Idea
I'd volunteer for vocals, if I'm good enough.

 Re: Beautiful Picture Idea
I would help, but I don't think it's a good idea to start right away with "Beautiful Picture." Why don't you start with easier songs like "Funny Bunny," and build upon your experiences until you know you can do "Beautiful Picture?"

 Re: Beautiful Picture Idea
Well, this sounds like an awesome idea. And I agree, it would be best to start of with Funny Bunny

 Re: Beautiful Picture Idea
Heh yeah maybe starting off with Funny Bunny would be a good idea, but to be honest, I haven't learned Funny Bunny yet lol. Guess I better get to work on that. But in the meantime, we could always give Beautiful Picture a shot and see how far we get with it so if it does well, we could do more songs.

In the meantime? I don't think you understand the concept behind starting on a simpler, easier song, particularly one that has already been transcribed in its entirety for all parts of all instruments.
It just doesn't really make sense to start on a harder song because one person already knows the simplest, easiest part of that song, but if that's what you want to do, I wish you the best anyway.

No, I do understand the concept of starting on a simpler song, but i'm really stubborn and I just want to go all out lol. Now don't get me wrong, I could do Satou's or Manabe's parts, but the acoustic is my favorite part. And I really do appreciate your imput too : )
I guess we could always go with Funny Bunny first and work our way up changing positions if desired or if anyone wants to give it a shot : )
