Yeah I played the FF4 on PS1 and thought the last boss was kind of cheap with that move.


Also I know its not the worst game ever, I was just annoying Metal because he worships it so much. It is ''alright'' though.

I can explain why FFIV was retarded.

1. The storyline.
Star Wars.

2. Every character "dies."
LOLZ, OH NOPE, I SURVIVED WHILE FLYING IN A FUCKING AIRSHIP THAT EXPLODED AROUND ME!

3. The characters.
The characters aren't that compelling and you're forced to take on different characters in your party, which can fuck up your strategy. It wouldn't have been a big deal if it was only one character slot, but it happened a shit-ton. The characters were also really static and flat.

Also: look at the topics of my old posts. I was lolling and making Metal flamebait. FFIX isn't bad.

FFIV is a lot of fun, stfu noob.

i've loved (and finished) every final fantasy game i've played with three exceptions:

ff9 and ff5 for the same reason: characters suck, gameplay sucks... i lost interest like nobody's business. vivi was the only interesting character in ff9. mrarg.

ff6: every time i try to play this game, classes take over my life and when i try to go back, i have no idea what's going on. talking to people in town does nothing... no matter how much realism that adds to the game, it fucks with my ability to finish it.

oh, i also never finished tactics... the day that i figured out how to rape the system was teh day that i stopped playing it... it's just too hard of a game without abusing the system, and too easy with it.

Why the hell do you people not LIKE FF9?

this game brings you a real FF presence with the easy to understand weapon/skill system.

i only felt that this game lacked... BATTLES,this is the only game i never get tired or annoyed with battles,amazing battle theme gets me pumped up everytime...makes me horny.

I'm still puzzled at the hatred towards FF4 and 9 in this thread, and yet you guys failed to mention how terrible Kingdom Hearts is, as a whole.

Mixing emo-kids, overused disney characters, horrible platforming, and the most repetitive gameplay ever. Sounds like the worst idea ever.

I've never played Kingdom Hearts. FFIV was good. I never got too far into FFIX, but I didn't like a lot of the characters... D;

This guy. This guy right here has NO IDEA WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT

FF9 was the worst FF game in its entire series.

1. It was as boring as two piss old men trying to finish a game of chess

2. The characters were fucking terrible and uninteresting, Vivi was only kool
because of they way the conveyed him

3. It had no fucking plot or story

4. In the first few minutes of the game you have to fucking dance against
soldiers who are for some reason trying to capture you at a fucking Carnival show..

In my book, FF IV, VI, VII, VIII were the most interesting and fun.
I am still completely in love with FF VII
The story continued past the game itself, what other FF game has done that?
Spirits Within is not a part of the FF series in my opinion

I can't believe that you hate Kingdom Hearts, it is one of my all time favorite games.
I love the story, characters, gameplay, but really mostly the wonderful story.
I don't care how you see it, but have you even played through any of them?
I can get bored playing the game over again, but its all about going through it for
the first time and having that impact the moment you begin the game.
A game can be so good that you can play it over and over again, for me its SSBMelee and FF7
But some are meant to be played once through, thats what Kingdom Hearts is to me.
A game which has a nice story and comfortable gameplay to flow right through to the end.
