Dreamcast had some great titles. My only problem with it was that the system seemed so cheaply made. Every Dreamcast I have ever owned has stopped working for no reason. I have gone through about 3 or 4 of them so far... I've lost track.

But it rawks so much...
Besides, near the end of the Dreamcast's life prices for the console plummeted. The last one I bought was only about $30 and it was brand new. You can get one off eBay for around $20 these days.
Decent prices for something that will probably stop working after 8 months.

i loved the dreamcast, it just came out at a bad time and lost to the PS2, but it easily beat the PS1. Jet Grind Radio was one of my favorite games, along with the Sonic games, and PowerStone 2 was a great game. I have no problems with my Dreamcast, maybe i just don't play it as much as you.

i threw my dreamcast one time and it messed up my powerbutton. i haven't used it in a while, but if i recall, i think it still works. either way, i think i can send it in for repair because i live like 10 minutes from the sega repair shop. either way, it is a damn fine system. took me a bit to find house of the dead 2 plus the best light gun for the dreamcast. this was about 4 years ago. i also have sonic 1, crazy taxi (so much fun) and some game called expendable. its alright. either way, it is a damn fine system.

Random Reason #1 why Dreamcast rocks:
Space Channel 5.
Man that's such a great game... I have it for the PS2.

Man, I suck so much at space channel five. I always laugh at the aliens and so I screw up. That game is hard.

the dreamcast is amazing. i bought mine from my local pawn shop (before they went outta business). i paid $30 and got the system, 6 games, 2 controller, and 2 vmus.
interesting postscript to that story. when the pawn shop was going out of business, they were selling dreamcasts for $1. that's not a typo. one dollar. one hundred cents. 20 nickels. that shit is crazy.

I found a way to put SNES roms on one too, so we had every snes title on a disc for our dreamcast as well as burned copies of every worthwhile title on the system. un un un un un un un

i think ciidric wins... his dreamcast, since it was an snes, was a good system.

the dreamcast rocked because you could play burned games without a mod chip.. plus the working snes, genesis, and PLAYSTATION emulators were cool too..

I guess this would be off topic from what your guys are talking about. But, I'm a girl that plays: Final Fantasy, Mario, Lunar, Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time, DDR, Animal Crossing, Sonic, Fighting games, and puzzles (Tetris Sphere rocks! just to let you know) the only games I don't like are sports and shooting games.
By the way...anyone played Full Metal Alchemist yet for the PS2?
