Re: Newer J-Bands Anyone?
Thanks davimon! I'll put their album in my tryout folder. Meanwhile, although I am enjoying KAREN's album, I was most interested in noanowa, and they don't seem to have released anything I can even buy, let alone easily download. Hurry up, slowpokes! The same goes for this next band: NICHIKA - "Genius Party", "Atarashii Mizu" (video) Somewhere on the 'net I read that NICHIKA means "Two Thousand Flowers," which, in English at least, sounds effortlessly wonderful. The video for "Atarashii Mizu" is just as lovely, and I have to admit I've fallen madly in love with it somehow. I mean, the hand animals are so cool! I can't wait for NICHIKA's self-titled debut, and I'm eager to see Genius Party as well.
Holy crap this band is amazing, definitely one of the best newer bands this year.

Re: Newer J-Bands Anyone?
the only band i recognized in this thread were the Arrows. one of my favorite artists is スネオヘアー though.
i would suspect, noticing your avatar. they're great. <3aoi sora<3 (and pinto) and i have heard of 99.9% of these bands. except for the one "Blood Stain Child..?" -_-;; check out this link. it's amazing. especially for new bands. just click the band name to be sent to the dl link. and if you know how to navigate japanese pages you can even request as i have done a couple times. (i'm kaze. didn't jack that from you mirai, i've been kaze since before i knew this site existed. ^-^;;; my gf is sekai. it's complicated...) http://lack.alink7.uic.to/just scroll down to the second pink line-header thing for the music. speaking of requests... anyone know the bands "scarlet" or "soulkids"???? if anyone has anything at ALL by them, i would be extremely grateful for a link!!

Re: Newer J-Bands Anyone?
Good thread here, I need some new music. I'll be checking out most of these bands.
One OK Rock (One O'Clock) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CUA9InjaUY
That was a pretty good song! Do you have any more by them?

I think I'll hold off on uploading it just because your response in that thread was completely ridiculous. But I'll get around to it eventually.

Re: Newer J-Bands Anyone?
They're (One OK Rock) full album Kenjou Effect just came out. THe cover art is aewsssomeee. I've yet to hear it though. I only have the Keep it Real single. Some more under the radar bands: Anatakikou-Great folky stuff, but can also get pretty awesome straight up alternative like. When I first heard them, the first thing that came to mind was early pillows. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4hAW94K83QSnowkel-Probably a bit more known since they had their song as a Naruto OP. Great band all around. Haven't heard a track I haven't liked by them. Fer realz. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkrCyulU ... re=relatedMono-Great post rock. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1B00qU5u ... re=related
