Those are all pretty old but I still havent found them since I moved out.

Re: Artist you're currently listening to. I've recently become interested in the band Lush after hearing their song De-luxe in Rock Band 2. It's some pretty good stuff and I'm currently checking out their Gala album.

Re: Artist you're currently listening to. Alright, so I'm gonna try to get some of you guys into band I've been listening to a ton in the past month. Monkey Majik. Story: Two guys from Canada go to Japan to teach English. They hook up with a Japanese bassist and a Japanese drummer in Sendai and form a band. Some songs are all in English, some are all in Japanese, some use a mix of both. Their genre is really...really simple pop, I guess. You know, pretty cliche lyrics about love, being together forever, etc. They're definitely not ground-breaking in terms of lyrics. They sound a little like the Barenaked Ladies in places, but with a coat of Japanese pop polish, a la CHEMISTRY. So I guess I'd generally label this stuff as "disposable pop," but these guys have really got something special that has kept me listening. Frequently, for long periods of time. It's not just the language play that's going on...they definitely have some composition skill.
