I can change the region settings on my computer at will, and I'm pretty sure you can too if you have a DVD player on your computer. You can only do it five times on your computer, though. I've never understood that.

certain dvd ripping programs can make the resulting file region free as they rip it.

also, there are programs that can trick your computer into playing dvds from any region.

There are codes online to make your DVD player region free.

If you can send me the discs, I can rip, make it region 1 dvd, and store the iso for sharing, in original quality

Seriously? Just open up Windows Media Player. Go in the settings section and look through there. The reason I say Windows media player is because most of us use Windows.

If you don't. Dowmload VLC media player. VLC can play practically any type of format there is.

I think it's a Windows-only program, unfortunately, but I could be wrong, and there's sure to be similar programs for Macs.
