The outro is the best part!

Seriously it's a very beautiful piece of music and makes the rest of the song seem fugly (though the outro is not exactly on par with "Something" by The Beatles imo but still it is very good nonetheless). :groovin:

speaking of clapton, I really love his rendition of "crossroads" especially in this link http://youtube.com/watch?v=-twOjwBORwg

its much slower than the album version and sounds alot cooler i think.
That he did. In turn, George Harrison helped write/played the solo on Clapton's "Badge". Neither are credited by their real names. George Harrison is a VERY under rated guitarist, but that's a different topic.
Claptons performance in the Concert for George is amazingly flawless. When he plays WMGGW, it's all most too much for words.
Totally agreed. I own that DVD, and I've watched it over a million times. George Harrison was a very skilled guitarist and talented songwriter.
I think I need to start studying more Clapton-style guitar and stuff. I've been pretty lazy about actually getting better at guitar lately, and studying Clapton and Page would be a really good way to get better.
This is a good idea, Clapton's vibrato is/was absolutely amazing; there's this vid from an old TV interview during the Cream days, where he demos his SG and wah pedal. It sounds unbelievable. :groovin:

I love Clapton. As I have recently begun learning guitar, he is one of my idols. I also recently downloaded Complete Clapton, which is a great collection :whoa:
