yeah good luck. 50 episodes down (released in the states), only 500 to go. With series like that, unless you're a diehard fan, you can just watch about 25 episodes, wait till it ends, then watch the last few episodes and pretty much get the gist of the entire plot.

BUT THEN I CAN'T SOLVE TEH MISTRIES!

It's true. Plot wise, Detective Conan develops at a very slow pace... but then again, it's not really about Conan becoming a kid and all... it's more about having fun watching them solve the murders. 500 episodes is a bit too much for me... but hey, it's still a pretty good show. The English version is pretty great, too.

I'm not too worried about the episode list--I'd just watch it for funzies and to be like, "HEY I CAUGHT THAT WORD~! SOU NEKO KAWAII DAY SUE ^^;"

So, I watched a few Annie-Mays last night on [adult swim]. Inuyasha was pretty crappy, but Bleach was very good (but the theme song was utter shit). I can't wait until next week's episode!

it's pretty good, it just moves along pretty slowly. But it's a short series. like 26 episodes.

Lostman: if you liked Bleach, do yourself a favor and just start downloading it subtitled. This is one of those cases where the original voice actors are better, and, besides, the series pretty much begs to be watched several episodes at a time.

Yeah, but don't beat yourself up watching it all at once, or over a couple days. By the way, the episode that was on last Saturday is filler, and you've probably got about twenty more episodes of filler left before interesting shiz starts happening.

most of the eps are uploaded on veoh or on various anime sites, so just stream them if you'd like to catch up a bit quicker.

on another note: Gantz. Just when I thought they would never cross [i]that[/i] line, they fucking did. MULTIPLE times. I'm not kidding, it actually shocked the hell out of me.

Bwahahaha! I checked up on the first episode of this right now, and lmao, but there were boobs within twenty seconds of the opening ending.

So I was a bit under the weather and also had very little to do for school this week, so over the past couple days I burned through Gantz. It was pretty cool, I guess, but for me it went downhill after the end of the third mission in the temple (AND I KNOW YOU KNOW WHY). The ending was also one of those "the manga is still running, so we have to BS this finale" kind of deals, so I'm wondering if I ought to read the manga...

Yeah, the ending was kinda weak. And the third mission had a lot of wtf's, that's ffs.

I think the series could've been a lot more kickass if it was a) longer, and b) if there was more action.

yeah, i'm pro-'not reading the manga of an anime series', but i'm actually thinking of finding some scans of it because i kind of enjoyed the show.

But yeah, the anime sort of digs a big fucking hole for itself towards the end of the series, and it just started to burn me out. If they would have waited a year or two to start writing this thing, it would have been fantastic, no doubt about that, but it came off as rushed and a bit irritating to watch, especially towards the second half of the series. But i enjoyed it, so I do recommend watching this alone or even with a friend(s).
